Fun to collect, delightful to display! Now, Capsule Danbo are shogi pieces. The lineup includes nine different pieces: King, King, Gold General, Silver General, Rook, Bishop, Knight, Bishop, and Pawn!
Lineup
1: King
A key piece that guarantees a loss if captured (checkmate). Used by higher-ranked players.
2: King (Gyokusho)
A key piece that will ensure defeat if captured (checkmated). Used by lower-ranked players.
3: Rook (Hisha)
A "major piece" that serves as the axis of attack, but for that reason, it poses a threat if it becomes part of the opponent's possession.
4: Bishop (Kakugyo)
A "major piece" on a par with the rook. Because it can move diagonally backward, it is called a "diagonal piece" along with the Silver General.
5: Gold General (Kinsho)
While often primarily responsible for defense, this piece is also important in endgame maneuvers and checkmate strategies.
6: Silver General (Ginsho)
While often responsible for defense along with the Gold General, this well-balanced piece is also easily used for attack.
7: Knight (Kei-ma)
A piece with very unique movements, it is primarily used for attack unless promoted.
8: Bishop (Kyo-sha)
Due to its nature, it often becomes "usable" once it is in your possession.
9: Pawn (Fu-hyo/Fu)
A basic shogi piece. It can only move one space forward, but if promoted, it can move the same way as a Gold General.
Special limited version:
Suizo is one of the shogi pieces. It does not exist in Honshogi, but it does exist in Shoshogi, Chushogi, Daishogi, Tenjikudaishogi, Makadaidaishogi, Taishogi, and Daikyokushogi. Sui is a new character. Suizo means "a male elephant that has gone into heat and become violent" or "an elephant that is drunk and acting violently," and is a word used in Buddhism as an analogy for an evil mind, but it is unknown why it became the name of a shogi piece.
Special Note: Capsule ball and Shogi Board is not included
