Yamato 1/200 Macross Variable Fighters Collection Series 1 (set of 9)

The "Variable Fighters Collection Series" features various Variable Fighters (transformable fighters) that appear in the OVA and game software of the anime "Super Dimension Fortress Macross Series" in 1/200 scale.

 The main wings and Vulcans are made of ABS material to pursue sharpness, faithfully reproducing the details of the original design. The 1/200 scale is a convenient size, and the item is designed with collectibility in mind, allowing you to enjoy comparing the original size of each aircraft at the same scale.

You can enjoy collecting all three forms that are characteristic of Variable Fighters (transformable fighters): "Fighter form," "Gerwalk form," and "Battroid form."

The first release in the series includes "VF-1J Hikaru Ichijo's machine" from "Super Dimension Fortress Macross," "YF-19" from "MACROSS PLUS," and "Macross... Selected from "VF-X2": "VA-3M". Each aircraft has three forms (Fighter, Gerwalk, Battroid) reproduced.

 "Fighter" and "Gerwalk" modes come with ball-joint stands, while "Battroid" comes with a dedicated base stand. None of the modes are transformable. The Battroid mode recreates the familiar pose from the design illustrations. The main wings of the Fighter and Gerwalk modes are movable.
